I got this recipe from one of Joanne Fluke's murder mysteries. I just love her writing. Really fun! And the recipes are usually pretty easy, and very delicious!
I mixed up the batter for the walnuttos last night. I just hadn't realized they needed so long to chill. I let them sit for the night, and day, and tonight I decided to whip out my trusty cookie scoop and go at it!
To my chagrin the dough was hard. Very very hard. It made the scooping process a real pain. So I let them sit on the counter for half an hour, probably erasing everything the all important 'chill' process accomplished. I just really needed something that I could use my scoop with.

Once the dough was scoop-able, I threw my walnut sized scoops into a bowl of white sugar to coat, put my sugared cookie on the prepared cookie sheet, and squished slightly with a greased spatula. Then all that's left was to bake!
These cookies are like a really good brownie with plenty of walnuts. Before baking they smell like fudge. Just delicious! I highly recommend them!
