While these little beauties are still in the oven, I will say that the dough smells fantastic! Can't wait to try one!
I did have a rough time with the rolling the logs portion, since my dough was already chilled it broke apart when I tried to do the jelly roll thing. I must be missing something 😝

But since the 'broken' log slices kind of look like roses, I'm happy!! Lol!
For the second log I just used the parchment paper they were sitting on to roll the logs and peeled as I went. It seemed to work well enough as the second log is pinwheel-like in shape.
I'm sure someone out there has a better idea, but this worked for me!
Also - if you don't have two hours to chill the logs before cutting, I find that 20-30 mins in the freezer does the job!
