This morning my darling pumpkin pie woke me by shoving on my face. When I was sufficiently awake I asked her what she thought she was doing... She replied with "you weren't happy momma" and had a concerned look on her face. I mulled that over before realizing she had been attempting to smooth my mouth into a smile. That's my thoughtful girl! If only I had been awake...
After running Punkin Pie to school and putting The Bean down for her nap, I was decidedly lacking in enthusiasm for my chores. This was due, in part, to the basketsful of folded clothing stacked around the apartment waiting to be put away. Somehow I still haven't caught up after my month of uselessness.
Time for reinforcements.
I actually hate having anyone else clean my home. It may not seem tidy to anyone else, but below the surface of clutter I have a very strict organization system, and helping hands can unintentionally throw things off. My sister seems to be the only one, with the exception of My Love, I can rely on to help out and stick with my system. She knows my obsessiveness so well.
We spent the morning folding and putting away, and I am no longer assaulted with a mess! No waking up to a disaster in the morning! Yippee!!
This evening, once the kids were in bed and I was finished working I did a bit more on my DVD organization, and to my utter delight I finished!! Yippee!! I now have all my DVDs organized in cases, and a master list on my computer! So excited!
