I was looking at the piles of baked goods in my kitchen and decided I needed something less sweet. A bit of Pinteresting and I had my answer!
While I'm fairly proud of my baking efforts, and that the bagels LOOK like bagels, I was a little disappointed in the flavor. I'm afraid they taste just like every other bread I make at home. Just rounder... And with a pleasant bagel-y skin.
they also got a crust on top which seemed very unlike a bagel. Oh well. It was a nice experiment! And I'm feeling more confident about my bread making adventures!
